Good to know, the prices might be the same but mwave have retail stores which I guess can make it more reliable when purchasing especially in the event of when something may be faulty. Thanks for the help
This isn't even a deal. These prices are the same at PCCaseGear (and other places)

Every single price is exactly the same to the dollar
No shit AMD has lowered prices for ALL retailers for black friday sales.
Mwave postage prices however is cheaper than PCCG
There is about 5 retailers that have the same prices, some people might be close enough that postage isn't a thing.
But it seems OzRRP strikes again
Mate read the following words in capitals.
ALL RETAILERS HAVE RYZEN AND THREADRIPPER CPU'S ON SALE FOR BLACK FRIDAY ONLY!!
Its not even close to RRP.
PC Case Gear dropped their Ryzen prices for Black Friday. There was an OzB post it earlier in the week I'm sure. I ended up getting mine from MSY who had the same price minus delivery fees. So they're all Black Friday deals. Just because many places are dropping to the same price doesn't make it not a deal.
I'd advise against that for the sole reason AU stock and AU warranty.
Just note that these levels of CPUS are really expensive to get a system up and running with. The motherboards go for 500 dolalrs, you need liquid cooling. The Ram is expensive as well.
Having said that it is a bloody awesome system but just be warned it's not like a usual PC build.
This is not true at all.
Asrock AB350M Pro4 - $125 less 20% ebay sale
1600 and 1700 CPU's include a cooler
DDR4 Ram is expensive across the board.
I was talking about thread rippers. Sorry, should have clarified.
For gaming there's really no reason to get a 1950x, 1920x or even the tightarse 1900x, just like you don't need to get Intel Xeon chips either. They are workstation focussed CPUs. Better off with a Ryzen 5 or 7.
No reason to get anything more than a 1060 either. Doesn't stop people :P I run VR and other applications and I am tempted to upgrade to a threadripper. However my i5 is still good enough :/
Need liquid cooling? typical intel drone?
Good luck running a thread ripper on air cooling. Lol
Just have to choose the right air cooler:
http://www.legitreviews.com/air-versus-water-cooling-amd-ryz…
I stand corrected. Last I heard there weren't any air coolers for the thread ripper that worked well.
I bought a 1600 for cheaper than that a week or two ago via an eBay 20% off sale ($247 including express post). This is not a great deal, but still ok.
until a new 20% off ebay deal happens on this black friday price
I thought this TED talk on terrible decision making is relevant.

Sometimes people can pass up a great deal because their memory tells them it was once a better deal.
Anyone know how these prices compare to other offers? Is it a good deal worth getting?
