Looking for a New Fridge (SALE) $250- $450 with Energy Savings

Yes I do realize that this is impossible to find under normal circumstances, I have been to the stores and online to check.

BUT, is it possible under a sale? Such as boxing day? And if someone does come across one, can you please advise.

Looking to buy one in the next 1-2 months.

I'm not fussed about the little details, white/stainless, ice dispensing, or even capacity. As long as it is a fridge, a sizeable/useable freezer and isn't heavy on energy.

I do have a fallback option, but I would like to know if I can find better, before resorting to this.

It can be done . But something got to give, the smaller the capacity of the fridge , the less kWh it usd

I have a bar fridge that has capacity of 137L , using 190kwh

Hisense 157L Bar fridge, check it out … it has a freezer part too

    • Thanks. It seems that regardless of the energy rating, when the capacity goes up, the kWh runs away. People recommend around 400 litres for a couple, but I think I could live off 157L to be honest. The biggest issue is not even in the fridge itself, but the freezer and the crisper.

    Fridge only,no freezer.

The Good Guys have a couple of reasonable 'fridges in their catalogue.

Winter is the time to purchase whitegoods,as manufacturers/importers tend to have stock they wish to move.

    • Thanks for the tip, in the future will look for winter sales, perhaps EOFY.

Check out greys online, I bought my fridge that had a few scratches (you can’t see it after it was slotted into its fridge space) on it but otherwise perfectly fine.

If you don't mind factory seconds, give a call to these places and ask them if they have any in stock that meet your criteria.

    • I would be fine with factory seconds, but I am against buying secondhand fridges (had 2 die some years back). I'll have a look, and see how things play out. Thanks
