Best Way to Monitor Bluetooth Device Battery Level on Android

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately Android does not have a way to quickly check battery level for Bluetooth devices connected.

What do you use?

Apparently there is some functionality of this type in the latest version of Android, Oreo. Of course, not all phone makers are quick to deliver OS updates (if at all).

Searching online, I tried an oft recommended application BatON. I'm guessing it depends on device and phone, but I found this would tell me I had 2/3 battery remaining for my headphones for some time and then suddenly they were 2 mins away from being empty. That said, BatON appeared the most popular of applications I found recommended.

Just reporting. this app looks pretty good and closest as expected. Battery percentage shows up on the Notification Bar.
