Agreed. I was close to posting a P5 specific deal however I thought it best to list the store sale with P5 as the example.
Compared to the Big W, Target and JB HIFI gaming sales its a bit lackluster.

I guess it's pretty typical for PS Store. Their sales on newer games are pretty weak (so as not to upset the brick-and-mortar retailers), but sale prices on back catalogue games generally reach a lower floor than physical copies.
Wolfenstein 2 and Evil Within 2 are both cheaper than any of the JB/Target/Big W sales at least.

TLDR… Yes.
More like, in 30 years re-release it on a stand alone console with 30 other games, but somehow the game you purchased 30 years ago doesnt work on the latest PlayStation :P Unless ofcoarse, you re-buy the remastered versoin on that console
