Hey i really need a new phone and I’m looking to buy the One plus 5t but I can’t find anywhere in Australia that sells it. Can’t even get on US site and buy it. Any ideas? I don’t mind international devices but can’t find any sites that sells it. What’s the difference between the Aus OP5t and foreign model?

OnePlus says won't be sold in Australia for a while…. don't hold your breath.
It was only released TODAY (Nov 21 in USA). That's probably why you can't find resellers. And there's no plans for an official Aus release.
The OnePlus site seems to be taking orders just fine when I try it. Not sure if they'll ship to Aus, might need to use a forwarding service.
Quite a few sellers on AliExpress however
- All of them are pre-sale
- Starting price of USD $599 (vs RRP of $499)
- Around 2 months of estimated delivery
Yeah, I guess OP's only option now, but honestly 2 months estimated delivery probably means the seller is going to buy one after it's released (at $499), and make a quick $100 profit shipping it to OP.
No doubt on that. They are pretty much just giving people convenience (which you are paying for), as OnePlus' website won't take orders from Australia.
Are the ones on AliExpress genuine or grey/dodgy?

The one plus 5t is now being sold at dicksmith.com and kogan.com for about $800. It is a lot easier than the other methods and more reliable.
