Historical Lowest Price on Product Tag Page and Posted Deals for Identified Products (Thoughts? Suggestions?)

Thinking about implementing or suggesting a feature that would somehow crowd source or crowd verify (same way like Google image security verifications) historical lowest prices for certain identifiable products or common products.

For now I guess products with a product page are already somewhat tabulated in the product tag page and going through that to find a list of numbers then maybe pulling out the lowest three price numbers and asking the community to human correct it or human check it for validity.

Historical lowest prices maybe with the highest votes gets displayed as a possible historical lowest price with date on all future deals and posts etc with that tag or product.

Something like camelcamelcamel's price over time statistic and chart information for any Amazon product but instead this time for Ozbargain items and products (tags).

Can be shown maybe as an experimental feature for now undergoing beta or alpha testing and optional to display for users until it is 100% fool proof or nearer to that so people won't be flooded with unnecessary early stage information.

I dunno I just think more information and stats make more informed people.. and I love my statistics and charts and graphs and such.

Can call it Ozbargain Enhanced Suite (like the popular res add on for Reddit) or Enhanced Ozbargain (like enhanced steam haha lol).

Or Ozbargain Overloaded or Ozbargain Xtreme. I can go on if you want. Please tell me to go on haha lol :)

Personally what drives me to make a decision to buy something other than its perceived quality and value is its historical lowest price or how near it is to that this feature can help users get that information at a blink of an eye out scroll of a page button touchscreen etc and help them decide much much easier imho.

Just my two cents well five because the one cent and two cent coin is no longer in the production process.. haha oh I made a joke.. aww :(

It's a good idea. I can imagine there would be some wrinkles implementing it, but well worth a go.
Also add a call out for new posts "This item has an historic low price of $x" which would help posters tell if they were getting a deal.

Either that or maybe have a last three deals including this product etc if it is like one or two product. The user can maybe select a number of products to display or number of previous deals aka make the site a bit more customizable, flexible and modular in its information presentation.

More information more power, more choices more decisions.

Damn can't retroactively edit it and still not sure how to add the option for suggestions like in some poll threads like scrimshaw's phone recommendation threads.

Somebody let me know if you know how to use or enable this feature.

Couldn't find it under poll options only allow changing votes and hide before expiry etc.
