Buy or Wait on 4k TV Upgrade?

I recently bought an xbox one x and looking to upgrade my 48W600B I bought a couple of years ago (courtesy OzBargain!)

Currently Sony has the KD49X8000E at $1000 off the same discount as click frenzy which is tempting.
If I am investing in a 4k tv I'd want it a bit bigger. Would the larger models come down in price for Boxing Day? I was looking at the KD55X8500E or KD55X9000E which were both on sale during click frenzy; I held off on them

  Why 49?
  I got a 50" Sony on a Greys Online deal I saw here. Regret not getting the 55" or 60".

  I bought the 55x9000e yesterday from Bing Lee eBay. Couldn't wait any longer. Awesome deal which I don't think we'll see again soon. Based on what happened last Boxing Day with tv prices, in my opinion, prices won't be any cheaper for this model for Boxing Day. Not sure about other models as haven't been looking for them. Prices could drop next year in March (which happened this year for 2016 models) when next year's models will soon be released.

  But in saying all that, if you've got a perfectly good working tv then I'd keep using that until you need to upgrade.
