    Not sure what prices are like in vic but last month in W.A i had the same system, with 24 panels 6.48KW and 5KW fronius inverter for $4200. A mate is getting the same but different company for $4500 next week.

      You need batteries and often a full rewire of your switch board to facilitate that…

      Easier to put up wth being hot in my opinion

      You do need a complete battery System( LG CHEM 48V batteries 9.8Kw)

      You should be able to run aircon during hot summer and Inverter you can have with SUNGROW HYBRID WITH EPS Or SOLAX HYBRID WITH EPS

      For able to support the Supply even if you get a blackout.

      QLD STC REBATE IS Bit more than vic and unfortunately CSUN is no longer in TIER 1 List.
      They are better panels in TIER 2 Category.
      You can oversize the System by 1.33 Multiplier but max AC which your inverter would give out is 5 KW.

      I need a 4kw system near Brisbane in northern nsw - Alstonville. Some door to door guys came and offered Mum such a system with the new Solax inverter and renesola virtus 2 260w-270w panels for $9640 before rebate - these guys:

        I must advice Solax is cheaper inverter which is around $800 Cheaper to Fronius and Renesola is standard Tier 1 product.
        System quoted in Northern NSW should not be more than $5000 After REBATE. THERE is Additional Cost of Net Metering in NSW if your in Essential Distribution its Around $450 for Single Phase and $650 For 3 Phase Supply.

        SO Overall Including Net Metering Your System is Worth around $5000 After Stc Rebate.
        I Guess your better off trying some other Retailer down there and put this offer on hold or Excercise your right of Cooling off Period of 10 Business Days.

        THEY ARE MADE IN CHINA AND EVEN 10% PRODUCTION IS IN CANADA TO CATER NORTH AMERICA SUPPLY.

        BLOOM IF YOU WOULD LIKE PANELS WHICH ARE NOT MADE IN CHINA WE DO OFFER SUNPOWER, LG , QCELL.

      Generally this system gets sold around $6500.
      How much is your bill in order to work out your packback period?
      Depends on your usage component on the bill.
      Generally its around 4-5 Year Based on bill size ranging from $300-400 Bill.
