Network Compatibility with OnePlus 5T?

Blindly bought a One plus 5t off the USA store and having it forwarding to Aus. Just wondering what mobile networks will work with the phone (USA version) as I’m looking at buying the virgin $24 dollars prepaid plan.

Cheers, if you could list or post a link with compatible Mobile networks.

    • Doesn't help the OP as they haven't added the 5T to their list.

  • According to GSMArena, it supports band 28.

So yes, it should work on Telstra and Optus. And if you're on Vodafone, then too it will (Band 5)

  • Just wondering, how much did it cost in total to get the phone including the forwarding charge??

    • +1

Well I haven’t received it yet. But I paid $559 USD for the 8gb ram 128gb model, plus I purchased a carbon fibre vase from One Plus too at 29.95 USD and when I was charged it was just a bit under 800 AU. I don’t know what the forwarding post is yet as they Postmate hasn’t received my phone yet but I was estimated 70 dollars. Regardless it should cost me below 900 AU. Hope I made a good choice as I’m coming from IPhone and don’t like any other android phones or prepared to fork out 1.5k plus for a IPhone X.

      • Thanks for the reply, I was just interested in how much the phone will be if I were to forward it compared to buying it from a seller. I'll probably end up waiting to see if they launch it here, mainly for local warranty.
Once again, thanks for the reply

        • All good. I couldn’t wait to buy a new phone as iPhone 6 is terrible and the screen barely works. One Plus said they won’t launch in Australia for a while anyways.
