Cannot Lodge Ticket with Gearbest.com

I have bought a Chuwi tablet from Gearbest and less than a year in it just suddenly died one day. Nothing I've tried seems to work so I tried to lodge a return. To my surprise when I tried to lodge a ticket, it says Order does not exist and refuse to go through even through when I type in the order number it immediately comes up with my tablet. On the side of it, there is also an option to click on My Orders to select from there and my order is listed among a number of items I have bought from them. Again, when I try to finalise the ticket, it says Order not found.

When I try to lodge a Livechat, it says they are down since September which is making my heart sink. I fear I will probably not get any resolution at all to my problem.

  • Simply, don't don't buy from GrearBest.

    I only did one shopping recently, didn't dispatch stuff for 13 days, I asked for refund, took them to reply 17 more days.

    DON'T BUY FROM THIS RETAILER.

  • I think the error message "Order does not exist" appears when the item in question is no longer available on their website. I received the same message when I tried to submit a review for an item I purchased a couple of years ago.

    Have you tried contacting them by clicking on "Messenger" or "Submit a Ticket" on the top right-hand of the page, under "Support Centre"?

    • Yup, I've sent them a message on messenger with no reply and I get the Order does not exist error with submit a ticket.

  • My EP51 headphones I bought through gearbest nearly 10 months ago died, wouldn't charge or turn on or anything. I lodged a ticket and they gave me three options

    1. Keep the item and they'll partially refund the item
    2. Send a new one and I send the other ones back to them
    3. Send them back and they'll refund me the money

    I went with option 1, and then they gave me GB points to buy the EP52's for less than 1/2 price

    currently they have arseholes in their support department. loads of people getting screwed around by said racists.

  • Update: The Gearbest rep has arranged for a ticket to be opened for me and I have sent the support team a description of the problem. This is a step in the right direction and I will keep you guys advised if they do manage to reach a satisfactory resolution.
