Or you can get your TSH levels for FREE by going to a doctor and getting a referral for a blood test.
And as an added bonus, the doctor can actually do something about it if your thyroid levels are off.

Because we have Medicare in Australia.

    • second that! Can't believe people would actually buy into this…

  • damn would be nice if it was a full male hormone panel test

you will be advised to see your doctor

Guess what, I know a way to get it for $17.48 cheaper!!
Go to the damn doctor in the first place!

  • From their FAQ:

    1. Can I order a PSA test without seeing my GP or specialist?
Yes, however our PSA test is not a replacement for a consultation with a healthcare professional.

We recommend you talk to your doctor about your specific concerns before you take a PSA test, so you understand the information you will receive.

Once you’ve discussed PSA testing with your doctor and decide if it’s right for you, you can order MyHealthTest’s PSA test service online, which offers a simple and convenient testing alternative to visiting a local pathology centre.

Once you receive your results, if your PSA level is elevated – or you’re concerned about some other aspect of your test result – we recommend discussing any concerns with a healthcare professional.

No legitimate GP would send you away for an online test from an unknown online company that you can't even claim from Medicare or Private Health.

    • Oh they do in the US. This is where they are based presumably.

      Medicare covers this.

      • Oh no doubt, their healthcare system is a joke. Their parent company is US owned, but this "service" has legitimately launched in Aus with an Aus board of directors.

        • Oh I get it.

This is fingerstick test only, not a blood draw.

As a true Ozbargainer, I'll let a doc do a full blood draw and keep my dried blood to myself.

I guess its a great bargain then; pay for a test you otherwise need advice from your GP from to interpret.

  • This test is Free if you are a Medicare card holder. Dont fall for this BS!

Can we neg because its cheaper here? https://www.humanservices.gov.au/individuals/medicare

  • Feeling tired, worn out and gullible?
Maybe you should send us some money so that we can tell you if you should see a doctor about this, don’t worry to cover our asses we’ll likely mention that for more information and assessment that you should see a doctor anyway.

If only as mentioned several times above we had Medicare, such healthcare could take care of this scan and then offer advice on the results either way.
