Planning on buying South Park: The Fractured But Whole on PS4 from OzGameshop but it says you may need a UK PSN account to redeem The Stick of Truth. Has anyone had any experience from buying from them? I was Stick of Truth but want to keep all my games on my Australian PSN.
Do ps4 games from UK work in Australia?
The date on the voucher is valid till 2018. Save file will be fine all PS4 games work fine with any account from any region. All ps4 games are region free but DLC does get locked by region. Normally UK and Australia games share the same region so you can use DLC from AU store with a UK disc
Sounds like it's possibly ok.
A lot of the companies that set up like this were running out of Ireland including Harvey Norman at one point.
All PS games work on all PS4's.
However, redeeming the PSN codes is a different thing all in itself.
Seems like the OP needs to open a new (primary) account on their PS4 which has a UK Profile.
Then use a VPN to tell Sony's servers he's connecting from the UK.
Next, redeem the voucher, download, and install the game. And launch the game/test it.
Then he can sign out, and sign in with his Oz account without a VPN and play the game.
Sony allows games to be shared with different accounts, as long as they're installed on the same console.
When it becomes multiple consoles, things get tricky.
You're better off getting the physical copies of the game at all times, for straight-forward game sharing, gifting, and re-selling them.
The reason is because stick of truth is censored in Australia, so it's less of a region issue and more that the 'rest of world' version is banned in Australia, and the Australian version is from a technical perspective an entirely different game.
This country has a bunch of mothers deciding what everyone is allowed to see. It's despicable.

I thought we were on the same technical network i.e. the Euro PSN
Maybe Sony can clarify or see if OGS will do the transaction over the phone if the code is rejected then they don't charge you.
