Delonghi Nespresso machines are the best, you can't get the same quality from a cheap compatible machine.

  • Go with the Breville BES920 instead.

    • Didn't know the Breville BES920 did Nespresso?

U is an older generation machine. Nespresso shop no longer displays them. Being the only fully automatic low end unit is the reason it is still around.

Not really a deal. It is on special for $149 from time to time. Father's day special gives both cash back and free coffee.

    Yea..no

I got this same thing for about $75 a year ago with $50 cashback.

I'll just tell JB that you got it a year ago for $75 with $50 cashback, I'm sure they will give me the same deal right?

  • Got it for the same price about 3 years ago. It broke after 1 year.

    • isn't it 2 year warranty. My machine is left at work because I don't have the space at home and it gets used by everyone. I clean and descale it regularly. After 4 years it is still working.

      • Yeah. I didn't bother taking it back. Went and bought a Breville Barista Machine which I love so much.

        • note to self. possibly the breville ones are not as good as the Delonghi.

  • During the Black Friday period I actually bought the Latissima Plus for $249 ($209) after cashback. But 4 years ago I bought the out dated model Delonhi Essenza N97 for about $100 after cashback. This machine is still working great till this day. I share my machine with my co-workers.
4 years ago I bought a cheap machine that accepts nespresso pods but it was terrible. I went straight to the BingLee and Goodguys and bought the cheapest nespresso machine I can find. Lucky there was an outdated model on sale and further more I had a $50 cashback.
The genuine nespresso machine did a better job. I thought I'll share this latest find if someone just wants a cheap machine to enjoy the nespresso range of coffees. $109 isn't that much (in my opinion).
I've tried the nespresso compatible pods and it just doesn't taste as good.
I've always love Delonghi appliances but because I have the advantage of going to the Nespresso Boutique everyday I found that the Nespresso Breville machines are good too.
