  If you have a annual fee free card then getting charged 2.9%pa over 12 months is actually not bad.

  It is most likely better value than an annual fee card which may incur a 2% or 3% balance transfer fee.

  Clearly 2.9% interest for 12 months is way better than a 3% BT fee over 12 months since 2.9<3 and the interest on the amount you owe is decreasing over the year.

  anyone know of a current code for existing card customers that doesnt have the 2% balance transfer fee?

  all i could find is WAAJA 0 percent for 24months but has a 2% management fee?

    I don't hold this card anymore, but this is not a bad deal int he correct interest rate environment imho. if I was you I would def consider it.
