Title says 2010, picture shows 2011. If its 2011 its a great deal.

Edit, ok it is 2011. Nice!

      Sorry, fixed

    • Whoa you're right. NOW I give it a positive!
I saw it as 2010, and I just looked right past it.. but yea if it's 2011 that is great!

    Awesome price..but FIFA 11 OR PES 11 ?

    • Definitely FIFA 11, but doesn't hurt to get PES as well, I tell you thou, if you get FIFA your PES will be pretty much useless.

      • Yep FIFA 11 is way better, I used to be an avid PES fan but the last 3 FIFA games have improved each time whilst PES has been treading water.

        • i like your opinion..but this yr..according to major game websites…PES beat FIFA in review rating..as for myself i just get which ever is cheaper i can get tbh..i dont play that much

        • +1

I'm not sure which reviews you speak of but meta average of FIFA 11 is 89 and PES 11 only gets a 76. Big difference. Also the demo was not very good imo.

    • Ah this debate again.

Ultimately I do think it's down to personal preference, but as jasecs has said, many sites have rated PES over FIFA this year.

I actually haven't played FIFA 11 yet, but I'm liking PES 2011 so far. Initially I actually didn't like it because of the gauged passing which is so different to how it usually is, but it certainly gives you more control of the play. The passing is slick. My biggest criticism is probably changing players. Sometimes it changes players too quickly and you end up making a slide tackle with someone you didn't intend to tackle with (and you get sent off sometimes, like I have). I suppose I might be able to fix that by changing the cursor settings though.

I should be able to get my hands on a copy of FIFA 11 soon, so I'll try and post back up and see what I think is better.

      • check the controller settings man. it will fix every issue u have. including setting it to manual passing.

PES vs FIFA isnt like a commodore vs falcon battle where u get essentially the same thing, and ultimately comes down to looks or brand prefernce. the games play very differently. u can get demos for both of them that are highly representative of the gameplay but not the different game modes available.

If you like seeing all the teams with their proper names, get FIFA.

If you like seeing crap named teams like the London Reds, get PES.

do NOT buy FIFA 11 from overseas this year!

the FIFA game requires the online passcode to play online which is geo-restricted!

  • Got one. Cheers.

      • hey Andrew, where can i get NBA jam on ps3 for the cheapest when it comes out on thursday?

      • +1

It's a really cool site Andrew. Cheers for that.

        • No worries Sharp.

If you have any ideas for how I can improve it, give me a shout….

        • Good site, just a couple of ideas that may help. You know how you have a flag next to each seller, why not change the flag to show where the product comes from. If you want on the start you can also say that all sites deliver to Australia. You could also put in a voting system where next to the link you can + or - if the seller is good or not, similar to ozbargain's voting system.

          Anyway great website!

      • Andrew, I can't access the site at work. restricted. I'll look at it at home.

Good price - waste of money IMO but I'm a FIFA fan. :)

Ok I just played a game of FIFA 11 and PES 2011..
I honestly can't decide which one's better. They are definitely different, but I actually like them both and at the moment I can't pick which one I prefer.

But, for now, direct FIFA 11 vs PES 2011 (PS3):
    Pros:
    - Ratings are more specific (6.2, 6.4, 6.7 vs PES which just gives them in 0.5 increments 6.5, 7.0, 7.5)
    - You get the odd stats in game (possession, distance covered by a specific player, passes completed, shots on target)
    - You can control game time (1 min increments) vs PES (5 mins, 10 mins, 20 mins)
    - You can upload replays to EA to share
    - Commentary is far superior to PES (and it has always been)
    - Sound effects seem better than PES (atmosphere)
    - Substitute animations occur more frequently
    - Referee jumps out of the way when the ball goes towards him
    - Keeper animations are more realistic
    - Replays after each half can be controlled with R2/L2
    - More real stadia than PES
    - Goalkeeper mode (play as the goalkeeper)
    Cons:
    - Less replays - seem to only show replays if shot is on target and goes out for a corner. Otherwise, even if it's just wide, there is no replay
    - The replay mode is not as good as PES. Looks cluttered and harder to navigate (might be a personal thing for me)
    - Although substitute animations occur more regularly on FIFA, the actual animations look better on PES
    - Game speed is not as customisable as PES (FIFA has: Slow, Normal, Fast; PES has: -2, -1, 0, +1, +2)

    Neutral/equal (up to the individual):
    - FIFA passing is slower
    - Default game speed of FIFA is slower
    - You use X to skip most things on FIFA, and Start to skip on PES
    - PES has automatic kick-off
    - Default camera angle for PES is not like the older editions. Personally I don't mind either, but there doesn't seem to be an option to pick the older default camera angle
    - Player likenesses are quite 50-50. Both games have pretty accurate player likenesses but some are more accurate on PES, some are more accurate on FIFA (Arsenal: Clichy more accurate on FIFA, Squillaci more accurate on PES)
    - Both games have very customisable button configurations

Feel free to correct me because I haven't really played either game enough to do a full analysis and there may be something that I'm missing. Do keep in mind that some of the pros might be cons for some people (such as more replays, because someone might like to play with less replays)

  • cheers mate, bought one also :) can't wait!
