    Yes. You'll need an adapter to Arca-Swiss, which is the more popular of the two main standards. Any experts here who have experience in applications such as this?

    Sorry, but that's the wrong one. It's an old model and not Aussie stock either, so Mainline/P1 won't support any warranty claims in Australia. How much is freight - is it more expensive once you convert the currency and add freight? Wouldn't us shipping the new SR model today from Sydney, with 6 years Aussie warranty be better?

    Just checked:

    • It's definitely the old model with no Australia warranty.
    • Price is from $AU $159.93 to AU$231.52 depending on shipping, all of which are slower than Selling Out Soon
    • Dispatch is 2-3 days to ship from USA, we take 0-1 day to ship from Sydney
    • Shipping 3-15 days, we're a lot faster, overnight to many destinations

    TLDR - *You'll get it around $55 cheaper from sellingoutsoon.com.au than Zapal's best shipping option (and Zapals best shipping is much slower), and you'll also get the newer stronger model with 6 years Australian warranty from Selling Out Soon, which Zapals doesn't have.

    Yes, we're right into Carbon Fibre :) but it's a lot more expensive, if you want the same quality. Even though we're $10 under retail, and this deal is still nearly 60% lower than a premium Sirui one

  The previous model of this monopod (and this apparently is better) rates really well for use for a video monopod, over other more expensive well known brands. If you're after the cheapest model, this is the one to get. I'm holding out for a P-426SR as it's shorter folded length for travel, carbon fibre, but correspondingly dearer.

  The Sirui P-204SR arrived yesterday. Actually shortly after the order went in, I got a call from one of the reps to confirm shipping details etc. Pretty good service there.

  Anyway, opened up the package and the quality and feel of the hardware is 5 stars. My other gear is a Manfrotto tripod and the quality of the Sirui is up there with Manfrotto. I initially was holding out for finger locks to operate the telescopic legs but the twist locks on this monopod is pretty quick to operate to extend and contract.

  I like the fact that it is a monopod that can be disconnected into 2 separate devices. The bottom can be used as a tabletop tripod and the upper part is still a monopod that still has more than sufficient height for my use.

  So in short, I'm very happy with the product and I had no issues with the seller or the postage/postal system.
