Split System Air Conditioning. Buy Now or Post Christmas 'sales'?

I'm about to get a split system for our bedroom and was eyeing up a Panasonic.

I can't find any bargains at the moment but Good Guys now have a $100 Payback offer.
It looks pretty crappy, have to wait til February to get the cash on an EFTPOS, limited to first 1400 buyers (which you won't know if you are successful until they come to issue it). It also isn't clear if it has to be spent at Good Guys.

I'd get the Z12 or Z35 model as I need heating too.

Do I buy now or wait a couple of weeks and hope someone has a sale om A/C units after Christmas?

Or I could try to screw HN down to match the payback price. They only have the Z35 so I'd be spending more though.

  Delays in installation will get longer as we approach public holidays and hotter weather.

  You can't put a price on comfort.check instore for installation times.Then maybe check the"yellow pages"then just buy and enjoy.Ive had Fujitsu,Panasonic, Mitsubishi split systems,had a minor problem with the Pana,but fixed promptly.do a bit of Googleing to find reviews.( peace of mind)then in it.As tightbottom said,the hotter it gets,more time it takes
