  Seriously, I wouldn't bother. These look like the same poor quality, shakey cat posts you get from Crazy Clarks and those discount shops in every mall everywhere. And, I might add, the same price.
  If you want a decent cat scratching post, get a proper carpet covered one from a proper pet store.
  Or, make your own. Some old wood, some old (non-loop) carpet and bob's your mother's brother.

    There's something to be said for the convenience and time/petrol saving of having it delivered then going out of my way to a pet store though.
