None near Adelaide? That's a shame.

Pass, Hawaiian is the only pizza worth buying

  • Anyone know what the definition of the "week" is? I'll be near the Maroochydore store on Sunday and Monday and may take advantage if still available.

We bought some last night. The large pizzas are so tiny these days. (profanity) Dominos

    • Pretty sure they haven't changed their sizing (yet).

Unfortunately I didn't take a pic of them (all similarly small in size), but they were visibly smaller than they've ever been - purchased in Adelaide at Hollywood Plaza store. You could have fit 3 garlic breads in the box with the pizza there was that much space. Been buying from them for years and just so over it now. We tested that delivery guarantee and they failed every time - just a ploy to make you re-order and get a free basic pizza that cost you $3. Not worth betting on. They never delivered the voucher codes when they failed to meet the delivery time guarantee, always had to chase it up via Twitter or with the store directly. We change BBQ sauce to pizza sauce on meat lovers every time and 50% of the time they don't do it. They have some great technology, but their service is shite.

Noticed the same thing, so not sure you were downvoted. We ordered 3 pizzas last week and there was a very apparent drop in size, compared to when we previously bought pizzas. Also, they must have run out of certain ingredients because all up there were 5 toppings missing (all pizzas were missing anchovies, 2 were missing chorizo). That's $10 of toppings missing if we added them ourselves!

Regardless, @neil you do great work and it's greatly appreciated.

Simply take photo of your pizza problem & call the store who delivered. They must replace the pizza or will you give free pizza credit for next purchase. It is their company policy. If they don't want to then call their customer care number or post on Facebook with photo & order/receipt number. Store has to call you personally & apologize for their messup.

        • Awesome, thanks for the advice! This store fkks up our order so much that we've accepted that it's a gamble every time we order.

  • serious question -
where can you get the best large pizza under $10 each these days?

the ones bought from Aldi are pretty awesome.

Domino's Value pizzas are decent for $5. Would recommend BBQ Pork & Onion.

If near Bankstown, auburn or lidcombe area try Lebanese meat pizzas.. Add lemon and chilli it is the best.. can also come with cheese if you prefer but imho the meat by itself is superb.

      Pizza Hut.
Americano large for $8 I think. Also other flavours I can't remember.
Pizza Hut quite often 50% off promo codes floating around, making the other ones very affordable.

Woolworths Fresh pizzas made in store - $6.50. Generous pizza size, loads of toppings and if you go at the right time you can get them half price. Maybe most importantly, they have a chicken pizza that is still $6.50, none of this $2 extra crap. Much better fresh than frozen and thawed, although that doesn't stop me when they are half price :)
IMO, best place (if your store does it) for pizzas but do bear in mind you need to cook them in the oven first :)
