Crypto Currency - Exchange for Aussies

Hi All,

I'm currently using Coinspot to buy Etherium before i transfer to EtherDelta to make my trades.

Coinspot is 3% to buy and sell but sending it off to Etherdelta or any other wallet isn't as much.

I have been searching online but I wanted to know what people in this community use to do your trading?

I've gained quite a bit, but i've lost so much just because of fees!

Please advise!

    • Thanks mate, the fees are much more reasonable. I may sign up depending on what other people may suggest

  • BTCmarkets is the biggest. Independent Reserve is another legit one, not as big. Worth signing up to both as prices are sometimes subtly different. I think both have a no-fee deposit option, though crypto trades at a premium here.

Buying with CC off Coinbase usually works out about the same but some people have mixed feelings about it.

    • didn't realise you could buy using CC - does it treat it as a cash advance or a purchase?

      • I don't think it matters. i signed up and it's 3.99% for Australians which is crazy!

  • Didn't read your op properly- ignore me

  • I have used Coinjar to cash in my stash. Worked well.

I think Independent Reserve has the lowest commission rate. However, my suggestion is to create accounts in different exchanges like Independent, Btcmarkets, Coinspot and/or more other exchanges. Then when you want to buy or sell bitcoins, check the prices at Blockcoin here and buy from exchanges with lower prices and sell at exchanges with higher prices.

    • i've just done this. THANKS!
