      the other day for cans….

      Aren't the cans bigger ?

      • Somersby cans 375ml, bottles 330ml.

      • Yes and it actually works out slightly cheaper to get the 10-packs of cans ($4.27/L) compared to the cases of 24 bottles ($4.34/L) (not counting 1% cashback from PayPal/Cashrewards).

        • plus 24 cans in NSW now gets you $1 back per (10 pack) case on top (with return and earn).

however some people really do prefer the taste out of a bottle so..

        • Oops I meant PricePal obviously :/

      • Yeh, but I still paid more $/L wise.

  • Somersby Apple and Pear Cider 24x 330ml bottles

Can't see any in your link.

Do you mean Apple OR Pear Cider?

    • +1

      true. wording fixed.

      • Can you confirm if this code is still working?

  • Thanks OP. Ordered a case of each - with summer, wife and guests seem to like cider (personally can't stand the stuff.. if you're going to drink apple juice, why drink it after it goes off!) but since they do, better to have some extra at a great price.

    • Put it in a glass with a ton of ice, let it sit for a min then try it.

Cider is always better over alot of ice, that said I bought strawberry vok and Russian standard vodka. 2 shots vok 1 shot vodka in cocktail shaker with ice to chill, pour over ice, add good qaulity Raspberry cordial (I add 1-1.5 shots worth) and top up with lemonaid.

      Then stir and drink.

  • Thanks for the post :)

Question to those more experienced than me, does cider go off? How long would I have to drink this if I got a whole case? I usually don't get so much.

    • +1

      Yes cider goes off
Usually about 3 months after bb date is max before it tastes even more like piss.

    • If you don’t need a whole lot the 10 packs of cans where I live frequently show up around the $18 to $20 mark at various places (superbarn, liquor stores). Probably not quite as good as this deal but if you won’t drink 24 anyway. That and as noted, the cans are larger.

    • Yeh I don't test that anymore, last Christmas I tried a can of one from the year before that I forgot about, it made my skin burn O.o

    • what other posters have said - check the best before date. you have a bit more leeway if it's stored in a temperature stable location I'm guessing and even more if it was being stored in a fridge.

i normally keep spare cases in the garage (dark/cool) and there's about 10 bottles in the fridge at any one time (which is almost half a case..)

note that it's pretty easy to go through - i've noted 3 women having a cider every hour over a 4 hour period.. that's half a case right there.

  • Anyone else having trouble choosing Click and Collect? it reverts to postal delivery at the checkout page. thanks

  • Anyone having an issue on the code working for the cider?

  • $6.95 postage kinda kills that deal if you only want one. And it's a long drive from Brisbane to pick up.

  • Apple Cider 10 PK cans for $19.95 at Dan Murphy's

    • Yep, but they're not offering 20% off.
