Logitech Harmony Remote Sale - One $144.95, 1100i $317.60, 900 $399 and more + Free Shipping

150

I was browsing the Harmony remotes on Logitech Australia's website and noticed this link which mentions a 20% off sale on their remotes when purchased from their linked suppliers. Upon clicking through on the links it turns out they are much better than 20% off - and cheaper than other staticice/shopbot/'ebay buy it now listings'. LTS/Fluidtek have offered similar/better deals in the past but at the moment I think these prices are best, especially for all models above the Harmony 300 (see note 2 below).

Logitech Harmony One - $144.95 - http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Logitech-Harmony-One-Remote-Control-/…
Logitech Harmony 1100i - $317.60 - http://dicksmith.com.au/product/GH3018/logitech-harmony-1100…
Logitech Harmony 900 - $399 - http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Logitech-Harmony-900-Universal-Remote…
Logitech Harmony 700 - $125 - http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Logitech-Harmony-700-remote-control-/…
Logitech Harmony 650 - $63.20 - http://dicksmith.com.au/product/GH3036/logitech-harmony-650-…
Logitech Harmony 600 - $63.96 - http://dicksmith.com.au/product/GH3035/logitech-harmony-600-…
Logitech Harmony 300 - $31.98 - http://dicksmith.com.au/product/GH3034/logitech-harmony-300-…

Note 1: Have a go at officeworks for a 5% price beat. This page lists their prices for these models: http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Technology/Per…

Note 2: The 300 can be found at similar/marginally cheaper via staticice and officeworks have it for ~$29, but for $2 more this deal includes shipping so I listed it for those who arent near to OW or like the convenience of delivery.

Given I was in the market for one of these, I almost wrote "fap fap fap" thinking that meant a respectful round of applause, like a golf clap. Then I googled it just to be sure and was mortified. I'm definitely not that excited…

      LOL, Logitech…Better than porn. :P

  • Bought the 650 from DSE in store last last week I think it is $75 or $79. Now even cheaper.

Now $63.20 and free shipping … What the. ..

They have 14 days return policy can I ask them to re-match it?

Called them that price is online only.

  • I have a Harmony One and love it.

Using 20% off links though site… (OP must have done the leg work and listed links to cheapest deals)

$144.95 through the ebay seller delivered is a great price!

    $159.20 through Dick Smith delivered.

$169.20 through Logitechshop.com.au delivered. (Link didn't work so don't know if 20% off applied)

    $239.96 through WOW delivered.

    • Yup I scoured the links and posted the cheapest for each model for fellow ozbargainer (ozbargainian?) convenience.

I've got the Harmony One and 515 as well. Just love 'em, especially once they're set up with the one button macros :)

  • Great work!

  • Hey so what's the pick of these devices?

Is the colour touchscreen useful or just a w_nk?

As an iPhone/iPad owner any colour touchscreen that isn't as responsive seems lame, can an owner comment?

    • Are you trying to compare a screen on a $800 phone to a small VGA $100-200 remote? Geez.

      • I'm just asking is the touchscreen a useful/handy feature or not.

As you already know manufacturers are guilty of slapping on features like this because they sound cool, but they don't actually help.

Of course it will be much less responsive.

        • Depends - how many devices do you need to control?

I recently bought the 650 and the colour screen is probably not worth the few extra bucks. But the 650 is a really good price from DSE so get it if you have 5 devices or less.

I think the 700 and above have rechargeable batteries so you can recharge them with a cable/dock.

The 900, 1100i and One can control up to 15 devices.

Only issue I have with my 650 is using it with a Windows 7 HTPC with a Hauppauge IR receiver. There is a delay between the buttons that is quite annoying. I set all the delay settings to 0ms but this didn't help. I haven't fiddled with the delay settings yet so it might just be just that but from the Logitech forums (plus others), it seems a lot of people have this issue.

    • domcc1 as mentioned above, i have the harmony one (colour touch screen) and the much cheaper 515 (uses buttons next to the screen). To answer your question, the touch screen on the harmony one is responsive and not sluggish. It is after all just displaying universal remote commands (nothing too processor intensive). Having said that, the 515 is used in a room with less than 5 devices and works just fine too, the screen displays the various options and you just press the physical button next to them. so really it just boils down to how many devices you have and how much you want to spend. if money is no object go for the 900, which is basically a harmony one but also does RF and has RF to IR transmitters which allow you to keep all devices hidden away :) In terms of pricing sweetspot and considering the entire harmony range in light of the current sale prices, I would go for a harmony one (plenty good reviews and editors choice awards for it).
