  • I saw this garment steamer at Costco earlier this week… I think it was around 70.00 or so.

    • Serious? If so I'll cancel my order and go Costco. Don't think I saw it 3 weeks ago last I was at Costco.

I bought at Costco this week for $63, but that is a ConAir not Phillips. I believe the Phillips is a better model.

        • Oh yep, I think it was that brand. Got confused because it looked similar w/ similar colours.

    • So $40 after cashback????

  • Thanks op! I was about 5 seconds too slow on this one https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/345797. Turns out that was a good thing cause it's cheaper here. Been wanting one for ages.
And free shipping from Amazon.au too cause >$49.

  • How do you get $25 cashback?

Found it at the Good Guys $114 ($84 after chashback). Easier for me to pick up in store.

Well, this IS ozbargain. You could claim 120% of the difference with their 30 day price guarantee :)

  • Strange that when you refresh the page a few times, it says 1 in stock then 2 in stock o.O

    • i could be wrong but it could be someone else who has it in their cart and releases it.

  • Thanks OP, I've been after one of these. Said there was one left in stock before I purchased, and immediately after purchase they now have two. Miraculous :P .

    these are useless

    • Absolutely. Bought one from Target and returned it the next day and bought an iron.

      • Same sentiment from me, maybe I just don’t know how to use it.
I can use the $15 Kmart old fashion steam iron just fine but with these I just end up with a pile of moist clothes and a few burnt fingers.
Brother and his wife swear by theirs tho.

Been using garment steamers for few years, and never go back to iron. There is learning curve and depends on model.
Best and most value is the Aldi ones. Bought on special about $25 each, very quality. 10 out of 10, as compared to 5/10 for this Phillip. The Aldi one finally is broken after thousands of use.

    • Didn't realize Aldi did one. Is there rough time of year the Aldi one come to Australian stores?

      • how it looks like.

April Week 16 $50 brand new. Bought it half price at $25 brand new. See here. This guy on ebay has the balls to sell a broken one for $29+$11 postage. OMG.

It has a much bigger water tank, stones drainer, temperature control, proper large hanger, heat insulated hose, solid +++.

        • Thanks for the thorough response! Much appreciated.
I'm keeping the Phillips, but the lumia sounds fantastic. If it comes back to Aldi next year I'll grab it as a second.
