  • Costco has one for $99. Which includes 1 gas tank and 3 bottles. Not sure about the brand

    • It's the Soda stream source in white or black

      • So it's not electric. I have source version - for every new gas tank, the first month of use I need to press down very heavy handedly. Of my household only me have the strength to do so. Then it gets loose and easy to use in the second month before going empty by the end of month. I hope electric one functions consistently.

  • It's $168.00 at The Good Guys on special at the moment:

So why does the link point at Harvey Norman? And what's the point of the receipt?

    • Sorry, long story short, went to Alexandria and the stores all look the same there. It was from TGG, didnt realise was advertised special, thought i had got it from HN.

I can't tell a HN from a TGG store if my life depended on it, even after photographing and uploading a receipt, still thought it was a HN.

    • The one at the Good Guys is full black whereas the other more expensive ones are silver/black

  • +3

That is an aspirational thumbnail photo of drinking H2O + CO2… best memories include first kiss, proposal, sipping soda water…

    • It must be rough memories…..

  • why would you spend $100 extra for an electric model???
$69 for a Sodastream play on ebay store

You're better off buy a cheap manual play (even a 3yo can press it down) spending an extra $250 for a 2.5kg CO2 tank & an adaptor.

2.5kg tanks are ~$25 at a homebrew shop to swap vs $20 for the 400g sodastream tank at supermarket/colesworth.

It's ~10/c litre to make vs 60c/litre. For us, paid for itself within 7mths (but we chug ~4lt/day)

    • what kind of adapter do you need for the home brew CO2?

    • This deal is for electric version.
