ORAL-B Precision Clean Toothbrush Heads 10 Pack- $26.99 @ Costco (Membership Required)

150

Great price at Coscto, on Special again. Great if you are a member, Note- $60 membership/year required (Fully refundable if not satisfied), but you do get free sampling freebies while strolling around as well :)

I got oral-B refills from the Shaver shop deal last year (worked out steeper) just before Costco did their deal at the lower price of $26.99 for a 10pack. Now I stock up at Costco.

Works out to $2.69/head which should be replaced on average every 3 months. I haven't seen these cheaper anywhere else.

    Are they the genuine ones?

Of course not. Why would a reputable store like Costco bother selling real stuff when they can risk their reputation on fakes 🙄

Why would a reputable store like Costco bother selling real stuff

Thought I'd ask as Target sold fake stuff a few years back and hit the front page news.

Do you mean are they genuine?

Why yes I've been a Costco member for a few years and always 100% satisfied with their products and their no questions asked returns policy. No reason to think Costco would ever sell grey or fake products.

Ps thanks for replying to my post. Made it.

FYI it’s NOT Fully refundable if not satisfied. They stopped that awhile ago.

Did you receive any communication about refund on a product if you are not satisfied? I was in Costco during black Friday sale 2017 (purchasing PS4 Pro) and reconfirmed with their team member about the satisfaction warranty. He mentioned that in case of PS4, Sony provides 2 years warranty and after that if something goes wrong and I am not satisfied with the product, then I can contact Costco to return it. I would be really eager to know when they stopped the satisfaction warranty and how did they communicate it to you.

    • If that's the case, they have not updated their website.

      https://www.costco.com.au/frequently-asked-questions#30-What is your refund policy?

On Merchandise: We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell, and will refund your purchase price. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

      • Not sure if it’s a lack of training but I saw them tell a guy he couldn’t return a dogs bed because it was used. I do wonder what would have happened if he had used the specific expression “I’m not satisfied with it”. They didn’t point him to a policy or anything like that, more so just made a judgement and really just treated him like he was taking the piss (which he kind of was - but the policy is the policy). It’s more likely that they are incorrectly applying what they think is common sense rather than applying the written policy - which is really a free for all on returns unless you want to get anal on the wording as I just mentioned.

        • You could also argue that you aren't satisfied with it until after you use it - there would be so many times you couldn't decide suitability until after you try it right?

I believe they have removed it in the US after it was abused (the story I heard was a new TV every time Superbowl came around), but it hasn't been applied in Australia yet due to lack of widespread abuse.

Shaver Shop unwittingly sold heaps of non genuine Oral B heads a couple of years back, too. It can happen.

  • Off topic. But maybe I can ask it here anyway.
Do you need a membership to buy their petrol?

    • Yep need to swipe membership card before filling up

      • @scar4ace: I was at their fuel station for first time last week. I noticed that you have to select the amount for which i need the fuel. How do I fully top-up the tank as I don't know the exact amount I would need to fill it up?

      • Hey, so the amount you put in initially is a pre-auth amount that is held and then released back to you, the actual final amount debited will be based on the fuel meter reading. So I put in a higher amount than actually required.
