not worth it u reckon? did many move to pubg?
Around 80% of original players have quit for destiny 2,pubg etc. The game is just really stale and players in competitive are unbearably toxic.
People only return for events to grind for skins tbh alongside the constant influx of new players who don't know any better.
HotS, LoL, PUBg, plus other games: just look at SteamCharts to see what people are playing
Not sure why you think that? I mean, a few people were upset recently with the Mercy rework, but I don't think it lost that many players. Games are easy to find in Arcade, QP and Comp. Patches are consistent and all the new maps and heroes are free (no DLC). The Dev team take on a lot of feedback (E.G the Genji, Doomfist and Widow bugs) and actively work to fix them.
@Alitoleah: I don't why you got neg votes on what you said. I totally agree with you. I have quit playing Overwatch just because of game is boring now and players in Competitive are too toxic and some quit early and screw up your whole game.

Is the GOTY worth the extra $10 over the regular edition? Also, how much is a loot box?

Oh no, I was referring to JB selling the Xbox One versions of the regular and GOTY editions for $39 and $49 respectively.
In my opinion its not worth the extra $10 for 10 loot boxes cause you'll only get one legendary at best from it and it most likely won't be for the character you like
But how much would you pay for those lootboxes in live?
11 boxes for $15 AUD.
If you care about skins then it's worth the extra $10. If you don't, then it's not.

Overwatch has lose a lot of players. it cannot attract more new players to join this game if no more interesting patches.
