Budget Tablet for Streaming, Android 7.0 and Decent Battery

I am after a reasonably cheap tablet (for Christmas) that will have a decent battery life, enough grunt to stream media (how would it not?) and maybe have android 7.0? The last one is just a nice to have but not needed. I really don't care if it has a camera or not, but an SD card slot would be great.

I have been looking at the Amazon range of tablets but it seems they will not deliver to Aus and their Aus site isn't selling them as of yet. I am a lover of my Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 but have heard the value for money isn't the same with their tablets.

Lenovo have from what I read captured the best value for money.

Does anyone have any reccomendations?

      Slightly cheaper at Officeworks.

Yeah, I was just dropping the JB link for info. Officeworks is very good at slightly undercutting the others.

        :)

    • Thanks for the reply guys. Is there anything similar with a bit higher res screen? As it is for myself I am not too sure if I would be put off by the small resolution

  • we have the lenovo tab 4 8" for our little boy and the specs on that would be my minimum, it's only good for YouTube and very, very basic stuff, it will definitely need replacing in 2 years max.

    • I have an older Asus Memo HD & it does great for streaming & casting to Chromecast. No issues.

    • Daughter has the older Tab 2 and has no issues with using that for everything she wants.

  • Lenovo P8, have a search through previous deals on here.
