Still Waiting for Order from GeekBuying

I ordered a clean robot from Geekbuying on the 10th November which they said on website the processing date will be 3-7 days. However, the order was still in processing until 4th Dec. I sent so many emails questioning about where my order is. They keep saying will be next week and finally told me the item is shipped on the 4th December. However, DHL tracking showed 'Shipment information received' until today 11th December and still no sign of shipping. I contacted DHL and they told me only electric information received but Geekbuying didn't hand in the package. So, I'm still waiting after so long!

Geekbuying emailed me again saying ask me to wait for few days more as they always do and the delay is due to Double 11 and Black Friday which is a month ago! I got all the orders from other sellers but not this one from Geekbuying! The order is a Christmas present so will be useless if arrive late.

Such a bad order experience! I still didn't get me order and didn't know where the order went!

Never use Geekbuying ever again!

    I don't think sending a bunch of emails and chasing up DHL is actually helping. Things usually take 4-6 weeks to come from these Chinese sites.

    It will turn up in about 2 weeks.

    • I am looking for where the package is as GB said it has been shipped but DHL told me they didnt receive anything.

    if i dont get an answer i will cancel the order and bring it up with paypal as a dispute.

      • I've done everything in my very limited power to get these issues resolved. In Bilbo's case I missed the messages as I get heaps of notifications for frequently posting etc.

  • Ordered a Xiaomi Sphere on the 4th with Express shipping to get here by christmas (taking in account their 2-7 business days processing time) and they still haven't shipped it. Just checked today and now its "Pending Refund".
    This gives me NO time to order from elsewhere to get it in time.

    Worst shopping experience I have ever encountered.

    I'd steer clear unless you want to gift yourself something 3 months later.

    Edit: My order has been cancelled without notification and have been in contact with Live Chat and they have told me they have none in stock. Will not purchase again from them.

  • GB sent email saying the order has been sent to me 10 days ago, but DHL only updated today saying the order has been picked up…. Now is 35 days since I placed the order and still waiting…
    For sure, I will never use GB again!

    Ordered some items on 18th October. Shipping date marked at 25th October.
    Still haven't received the item, so it's been 2 months since my order date.
    The tracking number they provided could not be tracked from Australia Post.

    I have messaged Clear on 29th of November, he got the tracking support to contact me back on the same day (thanks Clear!).
    They gave me link to check the tracking number (which is actually link to Belgium post office website. It tracks the item leaving from Brussels to country of destination at 16th November). They also asked me to check with Australia Post.

    So I went to local post office. They couldn't help because the tracking number could not be found in Auspost database. They suggested I gave Auspost helpline a call (as the phone helpline has access to bigger database). I called them, and they confirmed that the package left Brussels on 16th Nov but there's no record of it reached Australia. I was advised by Aust Post to get GeekBuying to check with their shipping agent.

    I emailed GeekBuying again on 4th December, asking them to contact their shipping agent. They replied the next day saying they contacted the shipping agent and that they will contact me once they get any news.

    I emailed them again on the 15th December as I haven't heard anything. They replied today.

    Clear, I know this isn't technically your responsibility, but can you do something about this? Waiting for 2 months is pretty patient I think. I originally purchased the items for a gift. A few purchases I made before only took around 2 weeks, but I gave around a month leeway just in case. Apparently that's not enough.

    I'm also confused with the request written by this person called Luvian. I need to file a case to prove that I didn't receive the package?
    So I need to spend more time again to get this proof (in which I doubt they will issue because it is not even in their record, only in Brussels post office record)?

    So after waiting for 2 months, wasting time going to the post office and calling auspost, I also need to prove that I didn't receive the item over something that never got registered to reach Australian shore? The burden of proof is now on me? This is surely being handled very poorly.

      This is actually quite common if you ever have to do an AliExpress dispute. The Auspost call line are able to email you a written letter informing the package is lost in transit and never reached Australia.

    My order #4309038 was placed Dec 3rd, they acknowledged payment receipt the next day and then I did not hear from them at all for 11 days (when placing order, their website said 2-7 days processing time). Sent them an e-mail, took a couple days to get a reply with no solid info ("we believe it will ship within a week").

    On the 15th they sent me a DHL tracking number and a 5-12 days delivery estimate (when placing order, their website said TNT was the courier and gave a 3-5 days window).

    To this date the tracking number does not even show up in DHL, so I'm guessing they just registered for a future shipment but still haven't physically posted the product (if it even exists).

    The cherry on the top is that my last email to them on the subject went completely ignored.

    Very frustrating as what I bought was supposed to be my wife's Christmas present. To make matters worse, she bought me something on Amazon (US) on Sunday, and it's already shown up in DHL as due for delivery tomorrow.

    Right now this order with GeekBuying is by far the worst 100 bucks I've ever saved. I just hope it doesn't turn into a 900 dollar scam.
