Snaptravel - Anyone Had Any Experience with This Store?

Just been checking out this hotel website.

Considerably cheaper than the big players.. Expedia etc..

Looks like a fairly new start up that sends you the deal direct to Messenger or Whatsapp…

    I just used them to book a hotel at JFK (which are freakin expensive) via sms (which sent me a link to the sale price for the hotel/date i chose) .. i also used the coupon PG7505 which gained me an extra 10% off .. compared to the cheapest comparison (including the hotel website and others like trivago etc even with discount codes) I ended up saving nearly $100 for the night stay.
    My travel is not until May so I can only comment on the booking itself .. but all in all i am happy i tried them out, every saving counts when travelling.

  • A word of caution I just got really stung by them. They have a fine print of stating that hotels may have additional taxes that you only find out AFTER booking. I was super careful when booking recently to look for any additional fees and charges above the price summary but there were none disclosed. It was only AFTER booking that the voucher said I was liable for an additional $186 cleaning fee which made the booking way more expensive than other agents. It was a non-refundable booking so I contacted them to complain that this fee was not disclosed beforehand and they said that is how they do it - you only find out on the booking voucher AFTER you book which is SO dodgy.
