Hi. I'm looking for a hotel on Orchard Rd that have 2 x double beds in the one room to accommodate 3 adults & a 5 yr old. The hotels that I wanted to stay in (Mandarin & Marriot Tangs) have a max occupancy of 3 people in a room. It has to be on Orchard Rd for my dad's convenience due to his restricted mobility. Budget around $400 per night inclusive of ++

I stayed at the Royal Plaza on Scott was pretty good and the restaurant all you can eat buffet is one of the best I’ve had
The York hotel has suitable rooms. The only negative is it's located 500m back from Orchard Rd, however taxi's are dirt cheap
York hotel is not too bad. Just a short walk and you will reach Paragon which is the middle of Orchard Road. Behind York is Goodwood Park which is famous for their durian dessert and cakes.
I stayed at the Intercontinental. Their twin rooms have 1.2m beds. While smaller than a double bed, they are bigger than king single beds. It is not on Orchard Road though, but like others have said, taxis are dirt cheap in Singapore. I think it is more important to look at the bedding rather than max occupancy. You will find that higher star hotels in that region generally do not care if you fit an extra person in.
Use booking.com, select 3 adults + 1 child. A quick search around Orchard Rd shows that Royal Plaza on Scott, Concorde Hotel and a number of hotels have 2 x Twin Bed rooms.
When you search, type in Orchard Road
