No GST Content in Memory Sold by Catch?

Hi Guys,

I just bought a pair of Corsair memories from Catch, sold by a third party seller called F Digital (Futu online?).

In the invoice showed online, the GST content is $0.

Does it mean it is a grey import (but shipped from Australia)?

Yet the Catch Club Fee has a non-zero GST content.

Totally confused, has anyone met the same problem before?

Any advice will be appreciated!

BTW, there are really some good deals on PC components when you combine woolies' 20% off Catch gift card deal

e.g. i5-8600k < $350

8700k down to $448 with that 20% off gift card deal isnt bad either.

It appears that F Digital are based overseas and they are selling direct import of overseas models. There should be a GST component if it is posted in Australia though.

Catch seems to do marketplace style like eBay or Amazon where items are provided by third party seller and if that seller is overseas base, GST doesn't apply on the sale. Catch memebrship is local sales thus GST applies.

      • Thanks for confirming that!

Catch items which have the text "Direct Import of International Model Sold and delivered by F Digital" are grey imports.

    • Thanks!
