eBay Click and Collect Big W and Woolworths Stores?

I couldn’t help myself from thinking that there are a few stores like Aus luck on eBay that uses Woolworths and big w for CC points, how does this work? Are they owned by Woolworths or some how affiliated? Would that mean if they are collected from those points meaning that can also be exchanged or refunded there?

I am pretty sure that those collection points are purely that, and offer the use of their distribution network to others (that are not in direct competition with them). I have collected from a Coles supermarket, but it was just a sealed parcel.

  • It's a partnership between Woolworths and ebay because many people aren't able to receive parcels during the day from auspost.

that's an interesting question, I wonder if Woolworths participate in exchange for them advertising their eVoucher promotions. maybe it just brings more people to their store.

eBay pay Woolies for the program. The other upshot is foot traffic into the store.

  • They are pickup only. You cant exchange/refund at the location.

  • I have sold an item on eBay and the buyer requested it be picked up from Woolworths.
The seller is not affiliated with Woolworths, eBay is.

lol…that's like asking Scotty to refund you.

They're purely just used as a collection point, no affiliation between Woolworths and eBay sellers. Seller posts to the store, you then collect from store. As others have said probably helps bring people in store as well.

    • ^^^^^ This

  • Yep, same concept as that parcelpoint.com.au system.
