Looking for a Good jigsaw puzzle

Thinking I would like to have a jigsaw puzzle to do on Christmas day. The family consists of a couple of teenagers through to my mum 91 years. Just thought it could be something we could all do a bit of 🙃 Any suggestions would be great

  • Vinnies or Lifeline stores normally have plenty at very cheap prices. Maybe run a family guessing competition for how many pieces are missing at the end?

  • Ravensburger puzzles are about the best ones around. Bit pricier than other, but great quality. Might be a bit late for mail-order, but check out board-game shops or take a punt on charity shops. 1,000 to 1,500 pieces should be enough to kill an afternoon.

Edit: Or if you have the room and the time…

  • Kmart had some really nice jigsaw puzzles over the past couple of years, ranging from 100 pieces up to 1000 pieces. We found they were quite good quality, not flimsy or anything, the pictures/subjects were clear and sharp, and the colours were nice and bright. Fairly cheap too - prices were from around $1-$10.
