Sephora - Beautyblender Gold Mine Set $42 (Online and In-store)

140

Fellow makeup addicts or associates of makeup addicts. Sephora is currently having a sale on the Beautyblender Gold Mine Set which includes

  • pink sponge ($30)
  • nude coloured sponge ($30)
  • reusable blotting papers/blotterati ($30)
  • blendercleanser solid ($25) this one looks like a mini size

Thanks to honeydew for confirming it is also available in-store

This is part of their seasonal clearance and and sales beautyblender (bb) usually sell out with in a couple days. Bb is probably the most well known makeup sponge in the world and despite being pricey, it is a very good product.

There are other products like lip masks and a Tarte gift set ($42) that looks promising. Special note to the Sephora Cream Lip Stains, they're considered as very good liquid lipsticks would highly suggesting purchasing ($13.3) !!

KVD Glimmer Palette is also on sale.

However, if you're looking for cheaper alternatives, Real Tenchniques and Eco Tools sell beauty sponges too - at a reasonable price. I prefer the Real Technique sponge, but they are both quality sponges.

  • Anyone used these sponges?

Dude, these are the most popular sponges in the makeup industry. Google the name.

    • I have it, and many dupes. I can understand it's price tag now. It's much better than any sponges that I got from Napoleon, Nude, etc etc.

  • I absolutely love my beauty blender and I'm glad I bought one but I will be trying the real techniques sponges next - they're about $6 on iherb.

    • Can't rate them enough. I think they're exactly the same except the flat side of RT feels nicer

      • Have to say, never tried BB as I think they're too expensive but I bought a dupe at IMATS that was great.

The RT is ok, and yes it's soft, but I feel it soaks too much product inside so I'll be buying another BB dupe soon, they are firmer and the product sits on top.

  • Good deal, but I also prefer the Real Techniques version, particularly for the price point! Iherb is the best place to buy RT for a decent price.

  • It's in-store too. Saw a bunch of boxes at Macquarie Centre. Parking wasn't bad at all! It's actually worse on a regular Saturday.

    • Thank you for the confirmation!! Updating title
