$5-$7 LEGO Series PlayStation Vita Games + Delivery @ MightyApe

170

Mighty ape are currently doing some decent vita deals, given that vita is going the same way of the gamecube with games becoming incredibly hard to get and expensive AF, these are not only a bargain but likely a good investment to trade for other titles down the road.

At the moment they have the following :

Lego harry potter $5 EXPIRED, PRICE ON LHP HAS GONE BACK UP
https://www.mightyape.com.au/product/lego-harry-potter-years…

Lego batman 3 $5
https://www.mightyape.com.au/product/lego-batman-3-beyond-go…

Lego marvel super heroes $5
https://www.mightyape.com.au/product/lego-marvel-super-heroe…

Lego Chima $7
https://www.mightyape.com.au/product/lego-legends-of-chima-l…

Add postage fees and please don't be a scalper, if you are going to grab an extra or two to trade later good on you but don't buy a ton to flog off and rip someone off.

Thanks ordered all 4 for under $28 delivered.

  • These are all PEGI/ESRB rated games are a very unlikely to have any significant value.

They have nothing of note, they're not end of life cycle, small print run, niche titles, interesting titles etc. They're just bog standard LEGO games that were rehashed on every console under the sun.

All the games that have any potential are still listed highly, these are bin prices because that's probably exactly where they'll go if unsold at this price :P

I mean by all means have a crack, just don't expect to be striking it rich in 10yrs on these.

    • You wont get rich but these are easily 20-35 private market.

This really helps with trading for other titles.

You seem to forget, not everyone is hardened badge collector most people just want games to play on a system that is getting harder and harder to get stuff for who dont like digital.

      • Eh pretty skeptical of that to be honest. If you manage to flog them for that much, let me know. You can barely sell worthwhile games for $30+, I've had good games listed on eBay for $25-39 range that expired after 30days due to complete disinterest. I had to relist them all $20-35 and there's a still a bunch that won't move. I could barely move Limited Run and other CE games, it took 2-3wks to find buyers even leading up to Xmas gift season.

The Vita is firmly a collectors console and the market there is actually hardened badge collectors, "most people" don't own one, especially in Australia.

Despite being such an amazing easy 300-400% profit, all these titles are still very firmly in stock…

        • First point, never use ebay, second point you don't need to be out for profit, thats what these are going for in the enthusiast level, collectors never pay decent prices on stuff, resellers target impulse buyers and enthusiasts.

I'm involved in many gaming groups and the badge collectors only make up a small amount of most of them, they are definitely the most vocal though.

The crazy thing that has been happening over the last two years which i never saw coming was the resurgence of it, I thought like you did a while back that once they pulled the trigger on it, only the collectors and badge collectors were going to stay in it.

To this day in my end of down vita prices are still staying high and many cash converters and private sellers are demanding 140-150 a unit and getting it with ease.

It's been like the gamecube, where the prices went down, then went up and have settled on some items and going up on others, limited run have helped it, even bringing new people into vita collecting.

At current we are still getting a handful of new people joining the enthusiast groups, many only having one or two games looking to expand and the others just looking to get into it, and these kinds of games are their perfect starting point.

@typhoonadventure: I think the demand for the Vita is pretty much because it's hacked to pieces and you can rip the entire catalogue for free. People are looking for the older 2nd hand stock to ensure they get a low firmware. It's naturally going to be desirable hardware but that doesn't necessarily translate to desirable software :)

eBay is perfectly ok market place when you get fee free listings offer :) People can say what they want about eBay but it still has the best exposure.

Anyway, fun chatting with you, always good to see another point of view. I hope you continue to enjoy the Vita, it is one of my favourite pieces of gaming hardware ever.

        • @yellowc: right back at you its always good to see what its like on other sides of the country.

It's crazy as it was never big here it just keeps building and does not seem to be slowing down.

limited run releases keep adding like anything to it, and the more people get into it they are always surprised how many games for it, and most of them here want original software, a few get it for the hacks and then end up wanting CIB games.

We have two guys in an enthusiast group who have a near complete vita collection so far.

Grail in my collection (which is nowhere close to complete) so far is a sealed breach and clear 1. number 30 out of 1500.

    Chima is handheld only.

  • They look the same price on eBay and Mighty Ape are on the 20% at the moment arent they? Stack?

    • The 20% can be used but it will be more expensive than buying directly from Mighty Ape's own site. On ebay, shipping is $7.99 plus $2 for each additional item while it's $5.99 for shipping if you buy all 4 of them on Mighty Ape's site.

  • Looks like price on LHP has gone back up
