Novated Lease Provider Recommendation

Hi Ozbargain community,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2018 to you all.

I am currently looking to take out a novated lease on a A250 merc.

I am pretty sure I will sourcing the vehicle myself through a good deal from a friend of mine (better price than they can give)and my own insurance provider.

Can anyone please recommend any good novated lease providers? Some recommended ones are fleetcare or stratton.

Thanking you in advance.

  • I am 2 months into my lease with fleet partners. Its the only option i get form my employer but been happy with it so far. I sourced my own car and negotiated with the dealer on a 2017 ex demo. FP then took over and I just rocked up and picked it up. I use their insurance though.

I like that they allow me get fuel reimbursements rather than using their fuel cards at the overpriced BP and colesworths - so i use 7/11 price locks and get the cheapest price and just send them the receipts and they transfer the money.

    • How is the interest rate you are getting compared to stand alone car loan rates that can be had?

      • I didn’t even ask the interest rate tbh - only know what my repayments are but it works out well in my favour to go through them compared to other lease or even buying outright.

      • Through my initial enquiries only one has been up front with the interest rate and that was 6.66%.

I will need to pin the others down a abit more to give me their interest rate as Ive heard some dont disclose the rate easily.

On a side note thanks chillybags I have completed a quote through fleetpartners and will await their contact.

  • My mates use autopia

  • I am 4 years in to my T year lease with Toyota fleet and am very happy, highly rate them. I have a few options at work about 4 companies at the time and they had best price and interest rate. Their insurance was a little high so I just get my own and they reimburse me.

  • What happens if you don't drive the specified mileage? Either going way over or under?
