I am looking at buying my mum a 42 inch TV - her eyes aren't the best so the resolution isn't that important. All that matters is that it works, can accept Foxtel and changes stations reasonably quickly.(She is 80 next year and I don't want her wasting the precious seconds waiting for the TV channel to change). The TV listed in the subject above at DD (http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/p/dgtec-freeview-42inch-full-hd-1080p-lcd-tv/?cm_mmc=newsletter--20101130--prods-_-6) sounds reaonable. I couldn't find any good reviews on the net. Can anyone comment or recommend others?

Get the cheapest one you can find but get an extended warranty ;)
