Post Christmas sale from David Jones.

DJ's online stock status is different to its local stores'. Even it shows non available from your local dj stores, you may still find the same stuff at the same local dj stores. The best way is to ring dj stores and confirm it with the staff then ask the staff to reserve it for you.

        I switched a long time ago, much better than cotton - more breathable and also more durable.

          Yes. I now only wear wool dress pants. Bought a whole heap in the USA for $70 each very comfortable. Would never go back sane with the socks.

      Ring your SA stores to find out any left.
      Yesterday I bought some which have been shown non stock online from my local dj. As I knew its online stock was different to its local stores', I went to my local dj and bought the exact the same stuff. To save your time, you could ring dj to find out if they still have some left. The staff from my local dj was very helpful even told me which store still had the same thing I was looking for.

    I was lucky enough to find some yesterday, in stock, on line. ordered 2 packs and paid done…

    This morning DG phoned and told me that they did not have any in stock and they had nothing to offer in their place. they did have one pair at an other store but that was the best they could do. Talked to a manager still no deal.

    I was under the impression that they should offer an alternative and if more expensive they would wear the loss due to their system being at fault?

    Is that correct, anyone know?

    I have accepted a refund so it is probably too late anyway.

      I asked the lady on the phone to see if there were other Calvin Klein socks available, but she only found a SINGLE pair for $9.95…

      I also thought they would be willing to exchange for something similar up to $39.95 in value, but I guess it's been too long since I worked in retail.

      Took the refund.

        I spoke with the manager and she told me that this was there policy… for a company like DJ i thought this was pretty poor performance. Did you write a complaint?

          Didn't ask to speak to manager, but the girl on the phone was really nice and understanding so I moved on.

    Yes, but I am sure it will come to nothing. Still companies like David Jones wish to be respected and be seen to be doing the right thing so, I thought I would mention this via the company feedback and see what there response was. Yes, I know this is only a small purchase that is really nothing to them but I thought I would state my case and see what the giant says.
