Best Credit Card Rewards ATM

Hi bargain hunters,

I'm looking down the barrel of paying about $20K in childcare fees next year. I'm thinking if I put it on a credit card and pay it off at the end of each month I'll at least get some rewards for our big expense. My question is what reward is the best value, should I look at Qantas or Virgin points, or Woolies (I tend to grocery shop local, but do petrol at caltex), or something else? Has anyone crunched the figures?

    Coles mastercard has been simple and rewarding for me

    You'll find most child care places accept only bank transfers and the ones that accept credit card add a surcharge. Basically the rule is if there is a surcharge, the points you earn are not enough to cover the additional amount you paid as the surcharge.

    Coles Rewards Mastercard has been great for me. My Childcare place accepts CC without fees but some may not.
