Just ask them, that if you provide the replacement glass (so they don't have to get it shipped from eBay for you)… how much it would cost?

They like to charge $20 for the service, and something like $300 for the glass.
If you find the glass yourself for $50, they might charge you a higher price of $50 service fee only.
You'd still be saving a lot of money. The more you know.

  • I've used CPRepairs Lab in Collins St. They did a good job http://cprepairslab.com.au/

I'm in the same boat at the moment with my Xiaomi Mi5. I assume you might have fewer issues getting parts for your phone, but you might as well check out the links below and search for your phone

    My research so far goes:

    https://www.pakshop.com.au/ in Box Hill.
Wanted $150-200 for parts and installation. 2wk wait on parts

    https://www.repairmate.com.au/repair/xiaomi-mi-5-australia-m…
    $159

    https://onthegorepairs.com.au/melbourne-huawei-phone-repairs…
    $159

So, I decided, I'd try to fix it myself.
Parts can be found from aliexpress, ebay and banggood. I went with banggood because I could pay with paypal, and they seemed to have good reviews on my screen without the dozens of less useful reviews found in Aliexpress. It was also cheaper to express ship with Banggood too. I think they've had bad press on ozbargain at times, but I ordered yesterday, and immediately asked a question about the order and received a response within 24hrs despite it being a public holiday today. Hopefully the rest goes well.

You will need to watch youtube vids first though. See if it's do-able for you.
I had to order tools: https://www.banggood.com/3M-Double-Side-Adhesive-Tape-and-Op…
    You may need adhesive.
