  • Don't need it but got one

Great price to keep things dry underwater but be aware that it is very difficult to operate a phone while it's in the pouch as it is too thick for the screen to detect your finger.

    • There goes my dream of play GTA in the bath :'(

    • I've used zip lock bags with no issue using the phone and it stayed dry.

      • +5

That may do for you playing your pretend games in the bath.
We real spies need proper water proofing for our coms tech.
Penetrating the evil genius's submerged lair with a zippy bag?
        Ludicrous …. I bought one.

Thanks you Zapals, now I can check Facebook while scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef!

  • Thanks, bought one. I have lost count of the number of times my phone has fallen out of my shirt pocket and ended up in the crapper.

Will you put the case on every time you go to the toilet or leave the case on permanently?

    • +1

There is a mesh system that can be installed in standard dimension toilets.
It's like the windows "do you really want to delete this?" thing.
I don't use one but if you've lost count of lost phones, it may be for you.

      • +8

I do not want to be the person that cleans that mesh thing.

    What about 3.9" phones?

    Buy a $1,000 phone & protect it with a $1 case. 👍🏻

    Thanks bought one.

When I don't need to put my phone in to use it under water I can use it to store my USB drives …. :-\

  • cheers got one

  • Gearbest is out, Zapals is in?

Haven't seen any Gearbest deals in a while.

  • Have something similar already. They're going to be handy, but expect some water to get in if submerged for hours. Mine are rated waterproof for up to 30mins only and for up to 8' depth.

Random Colour? We're all getting pink.

  • Coupon code limit has been reached.

  • These things actually work well enough for taking a few underwater snorkeling pics/selfies/whatever on the moby while travelling … much better to by it now/here/take it with you in your luggage (it's not heavy) than being 'held to ransom' when you get to the island (where they will charge you $5+ for exactly the same thing)…

I forget some phones aren't even waterproof these days.
The Samsung Galaxy line and newer iPhones are.

    • True, but for 30 minutes sitting static under water. I'd still put one in this bag if you were keeping it in a pouch instead of leaving it on the beach when you go for a swim.

    • Even they are you can't use it for diving.

  • +2

Had one of these waterproof pouches on holidays. It still leaked inside after 10 minutes in water.

It appears part of plastic cracked (probably from heat outside). As it was sea water, i couldnt stop it bricking and had to get a new phone. Those 'we can repair anything' vendors couldn't even salvage the pictures.

    • What's the use case for this? Do you bring it with you when you go swimming and insist on having your phone with you while swimming just in case you get a call while back stroking?

  • Bought one. Thanks op. Not using it underwater though.

Not sure what's everyone experience with zapal delivery time but it's been a month and i haven't received my first two orders from then.

    • Same will use it to store my USB drives

  • code still works Ordered another.

  • Code works, ordered one now

  • Can it be used in hot water?

  • Aren't all phones IP67 these days?

    • IP67 is not enough for diving

      • As a diver, what pocket do you put your phone in? And do you trust this bag? Do you also take your calls underwater?

        • I just answer your question, this pouch is for diving and you said IP67 is enough.

        • @superforever:

Where in the description does it say it was made for diving? Where is a diver meant to carry it?

I presumed it was meant to protect from accidental dropping into the water, which is what IP67 protects against. Diving… well, it's news to me that divers take their phone with them. I'd have left it somewhere safe.

        • @lostn:

I think you are the only one assume people only use it to protect from accidental dropping into water.

If you have a chance to go to cairns you will see a lot of people use it to do their first diving.

  • Aldi ziploc bags work just as good
