[Resolved] Travel Insurance through ANZ Travel Rewards Card - Validity if Card Closed before Travel

Hi guys,

The credit card in question is the Anz travel rewards card. My question is - if I book my tickets using this card and cancel it before my travel, will my trip still be covered by this cc’s travel insurance?

I read the pds

But couldn’t figure it out.

Anyone have experience with this? Thanks.

  1. Eligibility criteria
     To meet the eligibility criteria you are:
     (a) (i) a current participating card holder; or
     (ii) the spouse or child of a participating card holder who is
     on the trip with that participating card holder; and

  Limits on sums insured are per participating cardholder. It is plain from the definition of participating cardholder that you need to remain a cardholder at the time of the claimable event.

  Don’t cancel the card until after the trip.
