    • i bet you using some Chinese crap to send this msg.

      • +7

Yeh,, but the keyboard and the m&ms are not edible

        • -5

welcome to the earth dude, go to coles and woolworths, pick up anything "edible" and look for the words "imported ingredients", if u c that and it contained sugar or sodium, congratulations u just found some Chinese crap that is not edible.
pretty much every edible things in coles and woolworths ar like that, except milk/meat/fish/vege.
          so ya, welcome ~~

        • @samelight:

          fish/vege.

Colesworth sell fish that are packed in China.
          https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/794637/oce… No thanks.
They sell two different types of garlic. Chinese ones and Australian ones.

Sometimes it is impossible to elminate chinese crap such as dried shittake mushrooms. However, you can make choices to reduce the amount of Chinese crap by buying safer alternatives instead.

im sure both of their packing bags ar MADE IN CHINA, if u care that much then u should not buy them both.

Sometimes it is impossible to elminate chinese crap such as dried shittake mushrooms.

and also anything contained sugar/sodium/baking soda, so its about everthing in coles and woolworths.

However, you can make choices to reduce the amount of Chinese crap by buying safer alternatives instead.

ya u could always "buying safer alternatives instead", its NOT impossible ! u just have to pay more!! ppl always complaint about the chinese products and totally forgot they have a choice to pay more and by "safer alternatives instead". There ar M&Ms made in New Jersey and Tennessee, u just have to pay more to get them thats all.

        • @samelight:

Dude, u gave the exception of fish/veg but I gave u two examples.
Fish packed in China: sure, so were the frozen blueberries. Do u remember the recall?

Yes I should have spelled it out for u.
I buy the Australian garlic which is not packed in China. Have a look next time. I hear they bleached the Chinese ones that's why it's so white.
It cost at least double, but I know it is a safer alternative.
I'll never buy these m&ms even if they were 10 cents (how unozbargain of me).
I rather pay more for cadbury/mars.

Can you provide proof that sugar /salt is from China? My Coles sugar says product of Australia.

Dude, i mean the fresh fish but since u bring up the packed one, i feel the needs of telling u the packing bags could be poisonous, do u remember the recall of the plastic baby bottles?

ya once again those packing bags ar MADE IN CHINA, in AUS we dont make and print those zipped plastic bags, u should pay more to get the fresh one.
and btw most of the cadbury/mars sold in coles and woolworths MADE IN CHINA too, could be some exceptions but at least the "imported ingredients" ar from CHINA.

Can you provide proof that sugar /salt is from China? My Coles sugar says product of Australia.

plz read ! i said "contained" sugar or sodium not a bag of sugars or salt,
most of the "imported ingredients" "contained" ar artificial sugar, those chemical factories ar bad for the environment we don't have any of them in AUS. at least i dont know any, u could proof me wrong with naming one.
btw sodium and salt ar different, same as the "artificial sugar", sodium also from some chemical factories located in CHINA.

I ate a few pieces before I noticed the made in China hidden behind the flap and I threw it out. I complained to Mars about this and they didn't even bother to respond so I avoid their products now. It's like Oreo, I avoid that brand and all related brands where I can.

Why support companies that make this rubbish in China, put our health at risk and sell it for a premium price. All it does it cost Australian jobs and send the money overseas.

lots of complains, but can u tell me which "companies" do not make their products or "imported ingredients" from China?

i can't belive someone bite into this "cost Australian jobs" BS, what makes u think Australia is the next choice of setting up their factory? i don't think Australia can make it into the top 10 list, i could understand why Donald Chump said craps like this, but we Australians don't have the position to made comment like this.
coz in fact that it won't "cost Australian jobs and send the money overseas", but helps u to cut the cost of living by large amount of %, u could try to live 1 week without anything made in China and c how much extra it cost.

      Definitely made in China.

      • +8

yep, just read a wrapper for a block we had from xmas.

now on the no buy list for us.

    • +1

Used to have to buy Nanna’s Frozen Mixed Berries to get even a trace.

  • -2

Was only the Strawberry M&Ms in Coles Toronga (VIC) yesterday. Hopefully it is really the full range nationwide.

    • Can also confirm normal price on all M&M types in Coles Camberwell (VIC). Got picture but not sure how to link it yet.

  • Mine was throwing out the Almond ones for a buck fifty the other day too (before this week's specials started), but the rest were marked at two fiddy.

Guess these won't last long into the new year then.

  • No discount at Coles Brunswick

  • Just is case, Made In China

Not worth the neg but I'm definitely staying away from this despite initially binging on the stuff when it first came out.

  • Can someone explain to me why these are bad being from China ? I’ve had them before and they’re delicious

    • +3

The same reason they feel the need to import Australian baby formula.

Have you forgotten how many Chinese people die from their poisoned food? The fake eggs? The baby formula killing babies? The hepatitis in so much of their food? The non existent hygiene and so on and so forth.

Combine this with a total lack of care from our governments to test any food entering the country despite the massive risk we face and you have a catastrophe waiting to happen.

      • Little out of the loop so that’s good to know, thanks

  • -1

I bought an almond block the other day as I needed a choc fix. Good, cheap chocolate.

How can you use good and cheap with chocolate? This is utter crap, made in factories with no concept of hygiene purely so Mars can boost their profits. This range of chocolate was likely a test hence the half hidden made in China behind the flap so expect much more to come.

      • -1

Errrrmmmm….Chocolate is yummy! 🍫😂 maybe you just need some so you can chill 😂

Thanks for your reply, Debbie Downer! (Google it!)
