  • If it included a whole bottle of Moet (even NV), I'd be lined up there now! :p

Anybody been to MoS, is it a good high tea?

  • +2

Have to give this a neg I'm afraid. We went to the high tea last time this deal was on offer and came away feeling rather disappointed. The tea selection wasn't too bad, there were a few different flavours, all of which appeared to be from T2. The food servings, however, were pretty tiny, and whilst some were nice, most were distinctly average. Friends told us that other high teas they have been to (for a lot less than $117) have offered top-ups to the sandwiched etc. I'm not sure how common this is, but it wasn't the case at MOS. The service wasn't great either, especially given the prices MOS usually charge. I'm not sure if we were treated any differently because we were using a voucher, but it seemed than nearly everyone else having the high tea was using one too.

Oh, and the icing on the cake? The glass of Moet & Chandon, well lets just say it wasn't. As our wine was being bought over, the waiter clearly asked the other where to take the Jacob's Creek Sparkling.

    • Cheers MM, I appreciate the feedback!

  • Have to agree with the above post, it was definitely not worth it. The portions were tiny and the quality of the food was just not there and the atmosphere isn't there either for a high tea. I'm glad I didn't pay full price otherwise I'd be pretty angry but even at this price, I was not happy!

  • Price increase of $6 from when the deal was first offered
