Logitech Pure-Fi

Hey guys,

Got an iphone 4 a couple of weeks back and am interested in getting a dock for it to play music and to charge it.
The three main models i am looking at are: Logitech Pure-Fi Express, Anytime and Dream.

Now i can get the express for $88, the anytime for $129, but i have seen some people getting the dream for $149. I assume if i can also get the dream for $149 it would be the best option for sound and overall features?

What i was wondering is if anyone has a receipt they could upload or send to me with a good price for any of the these three models especially the dream. Hopefully i can get* the dream for $149 or less!

Thanks for any help you can give me,

RJ

  • Hopefully i can the dream for $149 or less!

    might wanna rephrase that as

Hopefully I can dream for $149 or less! ;)

  • Actually I am looking for an idock as well.

I saw a post said Dream was $120 at JB last month.

But it is $199 at the moment. If I can get that price now I would buy it straigh away.

I want an receipt too, if there is one. Please…

  • Also I am thinking this one:

    Sony – ICFC1IPMK2BC IPOD/IPHONE CLOCK RADIO

    The review looks all right.

    Anyone use it before?

    JB is $149.
I found out betta electical sells it for $129.
    DickSmith for $134
    HarveyNorman for $138

And thinking to get the price match? Anyone know how much JB will beat it?

Or any other shop is better?

    • Eleana,

If you are interested, I have the Sony – ICFC1IPMK2BC IPOD/IPHONE CLOCK RADIO brand new in box which I want to sell for $99 ONO. Tested once only.

The reason I want to sell it is because the new iPod touch 4G (which I bought 2 months ago) doesn't fit in the dock. I bought the dock last November from David Jones. When I found out that the ipod didn't fit I took the unit back to DJ. DJ sent it off to warranty. The warranty company issued a new unit from Sony. I have a copy of the invoice.

The unit fits the iPhone 4 and all iPod except iPod Touch 4G. This is because Apple has changed the design of the latest Touch.

  • I've had both an Anytime and a Dream. I returned the Anytime with a fault (volume only seemed to move the treble - bass was constant) and was told at the time by the DSE rep that a lot of them were coming back.
Even the Dream is not rock-solid - probably once a month it resets itself as I'm inserting the iPhone. Not enough to return it, but a little annoying.

In short, go the Express or the Dream, but pass on the Anytime.
