Samsung MU6103 TV brightness problem also turning on and off randomly

i recently bought this tv from TGG and noticed that lets say the scene is completely black except for a small image or text on screen the tv would get really really dim depending on how many things are on display the tv would either get really dim or bright like in horror movies with low light levels the tv would be extremely dim where you could not see much is this normal?, i also have a problem with the tv randomly turning off and on does anyone else have this issue?

  • Use to have this issue on a Sony TV. Only happened while in HDMI mode. Probably because the port was constantly used to connect other devices. Check if there is any sleep setting set, otherwise just get it replaced since you still have warranty. Also is this while watching free view or is it only happening while in HDMI mode. You can also try to factory reset to default settings.

    • thanks for the reply the tv is connected directly to my computer rx vega 64 i have tried doing a factory reset but problem still happens have turned off the sleep setting as well also happens when im not connected to the pc using the built in you tube player but its really random some days it does not happen at all other days it happens allot. whoops forgot to put it as reply

  • I bought this Samsung 55MU6103 TV from Binglee in the recent boxing day deals via E-Bay. Out of the Box, the TV had Wi-fi Connectivity Issues. The Wi-Fi will disconnect every ten minutes and wouldn't pick up any networks to reconnect.

I had to remove the power plug from the Tv everytime and leave it idle for 30 mins to reconnect again.

I took the tv to the store and returned to get a refund

  • I remember a mate of mine had something similar on a Samsung about 1 year ago and said it was an ECO mode that was enabled.Once he turned ECO mode off it fixed his issue. Make sure the device is updated and check for ECO settings if they are still applicable. Otherwise id go back to good guys and let them know.
