My friend is looking for an affordable way to move her family from Gosford to the Sunshine coast… plenty of furniture as there are 5 of them Any suggestions? Thanks

Just get a new family. Plenty up there looking for a nice woman. ;-)
Seriously, Airtasker seems a good starting point. Otherwise, rent a big enough truck and drive there in one go.
Checked out Budget rentals and they are not able to get a large enough truck..
Define “affordable”. How the heck are we to know what that means to your friend??
Has she tried calling moving companies to get a quote ? For a 5 person family it’s not going to be cheap and unless they know a bunch of family or friends will help out for beer / food after the move she’s gonna have to hire help.
Budget trucks won’t cut it if she doesn’t have a hv license.
Set the house on fire then buy new stuff with the insurance payout.
Sell all your furniture and gear that doesn't fot in your car/s and trailer. Buy new items once you arrive. Will end up much cheaper than a removalist.
