Yep, new price drop is $599 AUD RRP.
Not sure… still looks to be around the $600 mark through the usual stores (JB, Harvey Norman, Good Guys etc)
It was AU$599.95 on the GoPro AU site before and still after the US announcement, so it may yet drop there and elsewhere.

They've done alot of discounting to boost volumes.
Saw that. Will be keeping an eye on JB, Harvey, Good Guys etc to see whether they do any sales on the Hero6 very closely.

I would consider this a good time to buy as they reduce prices to boost profit. If profits continue to slide for GoPro, i'd imagine another company would buy them out. The GoPro name is pretty big, someone will see value in that. If you think of it, the first thing that comes to mind when it comes to actioncams is GoPro.
Probably Apple will buy them

I am about to get my GF who is in America atm to buy me some go pro accessories by Go Pro from Amazon there rather than here(after conversion, seems to be slightly cheaper) - suction cup, battery+charger, grande extension, super protection and floating handle for my hero 5 black which i recently bought. Can I get anywhere cheaper than that? I have looked everywhere with no luck.
I just picked one of these up from JB, got them to Price match https://www.eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au/gopro-hero6-black-4… who have it for $501. They charged me the $501 plus postage so $530 which is pretty good if you want it immediately. Thought id share
Can I ask which JB? I thought they don't match online stores.
