Looking to restock some SD cards for my DSLR
And I have not kept up with the times,
There seems to be multiple different types of Samsung SD cards (pro, pro plus, evo etc)
I can’t find any comparison between models
Can anyone explain the difference ?
I’m chasing 64gb cards if that helps too

I do currently have an evo, I just don’t know the difference
Evo is base model, evo plus is faster. Pro is faster and better quality memory, pro plus is faster still with the better memory.
Probably best to find out how fast your camera can write. There's no point paying more for a better card if your camera doesn't make use of it. Personally, I tend to just use Evo's - but I don't shoot bursts much.

Would a faster card be better when transferring from sd to hdd?
Probably would be faster there (again, assuming the reader is fast enough). I've never been too worried about that, copying from the SD to a drive is never a time critical step for me.
Evo plus would be a minimum if you are doing 4K photos. Or I'd probably go Pro Plus for 4K video.
There are other good brands too, Lexar 1000x is good too.
