Not looking good.
They did link in the last paragraph another geekbench score that apparently barely had any effect. But this isn't looking too good at the moment.

https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/compare/6312875?baselin…everything CPU related and across the board is affected. The only thing that is within the margin of error is memory bandwidth.
I suspect things may not be so much different for any other phone running Android / Linux / or Windows.
Hmmm… so don't update if using an iPhone 6?
